The Two ‘Great’ Sicilian Earthquakes?

Santo and his ‘radiant’ bride, Catherine, from their ‘blistful’ wedding photo shoot!

Taken circa the The Great Messina Earthquake, which occurred on December 28, 1908.

It mainly affected Sicily and Calabria, Southern Italy.

Messina and Reggio Calabria were almost completely destroyed.

An estimated 75,000 to 200,000 lives were lost!

Two questions still remain unanswered:

How many hearts were ‘lost’ or broken when Catherine ‘Merlino’ wed?

Did the Earth also ‘shake violently’ that wedding night?

🇮🇹

Whatever!

I’m here because of both earthquakes!

Major or Minor!
